June 27th to July 1st : Celebration of the 1st Meeting of Composition of Knowledge New Curriculum: Harvest and shelter
The process of defining the theoretical and practical content work methods and the selection system of participants in NC as we have said comes from the initial field visit in January 2018 and workshops and classes at the university itself given by the project director at UEM . There, proposals were being worked on and their adaptation to the needs of the local rural context was being seen, thus dealing in practice with one of the premises of NC.
This group of about 15 people is constituted mainly by a combination of architects from the European University of Madrid and Newscastle University, with the contribution of Constructlab Berlin, with the support of the Goethe Institute, and local pastors.
A mobile pavilion and an infrastructure of accommodation in the village is designed and built, rethinking traditional architecture and bioconstruction.
The resulting piece of this Encounter has been a finalist in the prestigious FAD Awards
